About The Mawadda Cafe
Mawadda means love that comes from friendship in the Arabic language. When you meet the owner and chef Rami Al-Jebori you immediately feel his warm and charismatic personality. Rami has been in the restaurant business for twenty-five years and Mawadda Café has been serving “the best falafel in Washington” since 2006. Located in the Rainier Valley neighborhood of Hillman City, Mawadda Café has seating capacity of 25, and offers a warm and friendly environment for our customers.
Mawadda Café is quickly building a reputation, through its customer reviews in "The Seattle Times", "The Stranger", "Yelp.com", "Urban Spoon", and the Seattle Weekly Journal for the best home cooked style Mediterranean cuisine in Washington. The food highlights the exotic flavors of the Middle East using spices and herbs; high quality chicken, lamb and beef marinated to perfection; and the freshest locally grown produce to delight the palate. All our food is prepared with love when you order it, so it will be fresh, authentic and healthy. Our food is not considered fast food so it takes a little time to prepare once ordered; so please call ahead your order if you are in a hurry. Remember, we make the best falafels in Washington!
